Finding Strength Through Struggles

Growing up, Garett Bolles faced challenges with ADHD and other learning differences. School was difficult, and struggles with focus often led to poor grades and misunderstandings with peers.

With the support of dedicated mentors and tutors, however, he discovered tools that helped him succeed academically and personally.

This guidance unlocked his potential and gave him the confidence to pursue, and achieve, his dream of playing in the NFL.

Inspired by Kingston’s Journey

In 2021, Garett’s son, Kingston, was diagnosed with Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), a motor speech disorder that makes it difficult to coordinate the movements needed for clear speech.

Inspired by Kingston’s journey, Garett created the "I Am King" campaign to promote education, empathy, and understanding within the learning differences community.

Teaming Up for Greater Impact

Today, he has joined forces with CAS expert Jennie Bjorem to launch Bjorem & Bolles, weaving his passion for advocacy together with Jennie’s expertise in the field.

By bringing "I Am King" under the umbrella of Bjorem & Bolles, Garett is excited to expand its reach, create lasting impact, and help children with CAS and their families feel supported every step of the way.
