Garett Bolles Named NFLPA Community MVP: A Leader On and Off the Field

Garett Bolles Named NFLPA Community MVP: A Leader On and Off the Field

We are proud to celebrate an incredible honor awarded to our co-founder and advocate, Garett Bolles, who was recently named NFLPA Community MVP for Week 1 of the NFL season.

This recognition highlights what we at Bjorem & Bolles see every day: Garett’s commitment to serving others goes far beyond football.

Turning Personal Experience Into Purpose

Garett’s dedication to community impact is deeply personal. As a father to Kingston, a child with Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), Garett has experienced firsthand the challenges families face when access to specialized, evidence-based speech therapy is limited. That journey is what led him to co-found the Bjorem & Bolles Apraxia Education Initiative, with a clear mission: to improve outcomes for children with apraxia by strengthening professional education for speech-language pathologists.

Rather than focusing solely on awareness, Garett has invested his time, resources, and platform into creating real, lasting change, supporting training, scholarships, and education that directly impact children and families.

What the NFLPA Community MVP Award Represents

The NFLPA Community MVP award recognizes players who demonstrate exceptional leadership and service in their communities. Garett’s selection reflects his ongoing work to uplift families, advocate for children with complex needs, and support organizations that focus on meaningful, long-term solutions.

This honor also amplifies the importance of causes that often go unseen—like the urgent need for specialized education in childhood apraxia of speech.

Impact That Extends Beyond One Award

Through the GB3 Foundation and his work with Bjorem & Bolles, Garett continues to fund scholarships, support clinician training, and advocate for better access to high-quality therapy. His belief is simple but powerful: when professionals are well-trained, children receive better care—and families gain hope.

That belief drives everything we do together.

A True Example of Leadership

At Bjorem & Bolles, we are honored to work alongside Garett Bolles and witness the heart behind his advocacy. His NFLPA Community MVP recognition is well-deserved, and we are grateful for the way he uses his voice to support children with apraxia and the professionals who serve them.

Congratulations, Garett. Your impact reaches far beyond the field. Read the article here.
