GB3 Foundation Offers Two Full Scholarships for Bjorem & Bolles July Apraxia Training
The GB3 Foundation, founded by NFL player Garett Bolles, is proud to offer two full scholarships to attend the Bjorem & Bolles Apraxia Education Initiative July training in Colorado. These scholarships reflect a shared commitment to expanding access to high-quality, evidence-based care for children with Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS).
Each scholarship covers training tuition, airfare, and hotel accommodations, removing financial barriers so clinicians can focus on learning and bringing advanced apraxia intervention back to the children and communities they serve.
Scholarship #1: University of Utah Graduate Scholarship
July 2026 Training | Full Scholarship (Training, Flight, Hotel)
This scholarship is designed specifically for graduates of the University of Utah Master’s Program in Speech-Language Pathology who are currently practicing as speech-language pathologists and serving children with Childhood Apraxia of Speech.
Eligibility highlights include:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Utah

Currently practicing as an SLP
-
At least one child with CAS on their caseload

Upload of diploma required

One professional letter of recommendation

Personal statement describing interest in CAS training and professional goals
This scholarship honors the strong foundation of clinical education at the University of Utah and supports clinicians who are ready to deepen their expertise in motor-based speech intervention.
Scholarship #2: 2025 Full Scholarship for SLPs Serving Title I Students
July 2026 Training | Includes Training, Flight, and Hotel
This scholarship is intended for school-based speech-language pathologists working in Title I schools or districts who serve high-need student populations and have children with CAS on their caseload.
Eligibility highlights include:

Currently practicing as a school-based SLP

Serving students in a Title I school or district

Verification required from a principal, district administrator, or special education director

At least one child with CAS on caseload

One professional letter of recommendation
This scholarship recognizes the vital role school-based clinicians play in early identification and effective treatment of CAS, especially in communities where access to specialized training is limited.
