On Monday, August 25, Jennie Bjorem, M.A., CCC-SLP, and Denver Broncos offensive tackle Garett Bolles hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house to celebrate the launch of the Bjorem & Bolles Apraxia Education Initiative.

This new training center, based in Parker, Colorado, is dedicated to educating speech-language pathologists on Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), a rare motor speech disorder that impacts a child’s ability to plan and coordinate the movements needed for speech.

The event brought together families, professionals, and community supporters, all united by a shared mission: to expand access to evidence-based, play-focused therapy education for SLPs working with children who have CAS. Guests toured the training space, connected with the Bjorem & Bolles team, and learned about the nonprofit’s vision for the future.

Bjorem & Bolles is committed to making professional education accessible and impactful, helping more children with CAS find their voice. The open house marked just the beginning of what’s to come—and we are excited to continue building momentum with future trainings, events, and community support.
A special thank-you to photographer Kate Connors and the Denver Broncos for capturing this meaningful day.
